Infinity Electrostatics LLC, a technology development firm for additive 3D printing and graphene production, is pleased to announce development of a unique process to track materials.

Using graphene (produced from graphite, or eco-friendly hemp and bamboo), almost any carbon-based material can be used to make a identifiable carbon fingerprint.

What do you get when you combine a strand of carbon atoms, RFID, barcode, born-on-date, and location in one structure ? You get a thread that resembles a DNA of data. Since each thread is unique, it may be used in different products, but it’s origin and identifier will always be the same. This allows your unique product to be distributed, but not copied, without its fingerprint.

The crypto carbon blockchain technology gives you a competitive advantage in the market, by having a market identifiable history from inception. It is the new crypto carbon of industry. In a distributed material chain, it provides a mechanism of accountability using a carbon DNA fingerprint which can’t be erased.

Carbon based material matrix, such as carbon fiber can be made from crypto carbon thread.

Using this material in consumer products from clothes to phones, can allow sensors to determine and quantify data of origin (real versus knock-offs), use, and consumer metrics. When a crypto carbon sensor is connected to a network, it can give real-time channel specific traffic data to the factory on product robustness, and tampering.

Since the crypto carbon is invisible to the eye, it provides a transparent barcode. Carbon based graphene is also conductive, so it can also be used as a RFID (radio frequency identification). Since crypto carbon can be statically charged, a RFID can be self-powered.

About Graphene:  The new environmentally friendly, transparent, go-to material that has incredible opportunities for super capacitors, solar cells, semi-conductors, is impervious to water, temperature changes, and can self-repair its bonds. It is 1000 times more conductive than Copper, 200 times stronger than steel, and doesn’t have the limitations of silicon.

Downsizing 2018: Introducing the Micro Factory for Carbon Based Continuous Production

PDF: 20171227-infinity-supercritical-micro-factory-sdr

The Legacy Factory System: The invention of the steam engine and era of steam power made the cottage industry virtually extinct. Factories drew a programmed workforce out of the hinterlands to produce assembly line products. Fast forward a few hundred years and we now have the mega-factory. Focus on one product, and do it well, over and over again.

In our rush to optimize labor, streamline production, and discipline efficiency, we have made the modern factory a one-trick pony. Similar to the demise of a one variety banana plant, we’ve completely eroded flexibility and the ability to change by evolution. It’s this anti-evolutionary process that trades variety for efficiency in doing one thing perfectly well. For a dimensionally stable market and product, this may be a profitable model. But for a changing market, the huge infrastructure costs can prohibit a profit for a long time as investment is recouped. And if the product changes, even more investment is needed to accommodate it.

From a labor standpoint, it’s like fulfilling boxes at Amazon, or building iPhones in China. It’s miserable and boring for workers. While robots can do much of the repetitive work to replace humans, they are capital intensive and require power. What if there was a system that blended interesting work, with efficiency, economy of scale, and the chameleon-like responsiveness to a ever changing market ?

The SDR can produce quantum dots, silver nano particles, graphene (from carbon based raw materials such as activated carbon, hemp, and bamboo).

The Micro Factory:

The concept of a micro factory is to have a continuous production machine, that is operated by one or two people, that can efficiently build a market driven product. It a pure distributed build model, multiple geographically centric micro factories can produce one cohesive product. This is done to some effect on a large scale with Boeing and Airbus, where they have parts produced around the world to build a airliner, but they’re so geographically disjointed, it doesn’t make sense.

For our micro factory, we’ll look at the Spinning Disc Reactor (SDR). The unique process capabilities of the SDR make it a great candidate for our needs. It is a one-stop shop that can extract, blend, mix, heat, cool, purify, process, and mold materials together. For the operator, it removes the repetitiveness and boredom out of assembly line mentality, and instills the unique problem solving and multitasking functions into a build process.

The SDR can be used as a botanical oil extraction machine one week, producing silver nano particles the next, and even switch to making Graphene after that. Because it uses water as a carrier, it is continuous feed and flow.

The next production revolution will be the Spinning Disc Reactor. Responsive to market demand and profit potential.

The Spinning Disc Reactor (SDR) can provide a continuous feed and continuous flow output in a compact footprint in a fraction of the time compared to legacy machines.

Summary: In our one-size-fits all mega factory business model, there is a niche for a market and profit responsive method for production called the micro factory. The micro factory uses a Spinning Disc Reactor which requires minimal human capital (both labor and infrastructure) to build a continuously produced product, that is responsive to market needs. As a market-centric production machine, the micro factory cohesively blends human nature with machines, while still making money. In the era of high-technology, low cost renewable raw materials such as activated carbon, hemp, and bamboo can produce profitable production such as Quantum Dots, silver nano-particles, and graphene.

Infinity Coil: Carbon-Based Energy Tube Graphene Energy Thread. Hemp Energy Tube. Bamboo Energy Cable.

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 22, 2017 (NEWSWIRE) — Infinity Electrostatics LLC, a technology development firm for additive 3D printing, is pleased to announce a new energy storage device.

Infinity Coil Energy Tube:

Infinity is developing a unique continuous process to produce a continuous formed super-capacitor to store energy. The result of which can include a graphene energy thread, hemp energy tube, or bamboo energy cable. Names are interchangeable with materials depending on carbon sourced composition. Depending on thickness, they can be woven to form a moldable material.

Continuous roll forming

Continuous Production Format:

The process involves roll forming so that a super capacitor may be assembled in a continuous format.

Deposition of fine particles may be done using electrostatics and a tribo-effect gun. Depending on output layered matrix, the result may be a thread, tube, or meso-scale pole. Flexibility is determined by the infrastructure infusion compound, which allows the final product to be thread, rope, or a structural panel. A continuous form loom can be used to incorporate multiple fiber types, including conductors and optical transmission fiber.

Hemp and Bamboo Based Carbon:

Typical carbon-based material is graphene. However, heat treated hemp and bamboo based carbon may also be used for a lower-cost production option.

Graphene is 200 times stronger than steel and more conductive than copper

Applications:

When the infrastructure (supporting) material  includes carbon fiber, hemp, or bamboo mat, resin or epoxy infused composites are continuously fed so that the layered material can be vacuum bagged into a solid structure. The result of which is a structure which becomes a super capacitor, or energy storage device. Using conventional carbon fiber lay-up methods, this energy storage structure could become a aircraft wing, car body, or a ship hull.

When supporting infrastructure material is combined with closed cell foam, or air, the unique insulating qualities of the structure allow it to be used to form flat, or shaped panels. Any insulated applications can now be used as a energy storage device. This would include installation for a wall in home or commercial building, roof, or even something as simple as a consumer beverage cooler.

In smaller applications, a tunable electrolyte can be used between layers, including CO2. The unique qualities of the supercritical energy dense molecule allow the carbon-based energy tube to be used in energy harvesting. Since CO2 can go supercritical at 31C, low-grade heat can now be used to produce electricity using the qualities of CO2 with tribo-effect.

If the tunable electrolyte is a carbon-based smart fluid, the structure can resemble a solid-state generator.

Summary: The Infinity Coil is a new energy storage device. Using graphene, eco-friendly hemp, or bamboo, almost any carbon based energy dense material can be used to make a super-capacitor or battery. With a tunable electrolyte, the energy storage device can resemble a solid state power generator. When combined into a structural panel, the device can be used as a aircraft wing, sides of a building, or hull of a ship. What is unique about this product is that it can be scaled up from a thin diameter thread woven into a rope or cable, which can be continuously formed into any shape panels. Using a 3-D printer, the structural applications could be infinite. Using renewable carbon based materials and components, the device is fully recyclable, and good for the environment.
